Night Tourism At Monas, There Is A Beautiful Fountain

JAKARTA - Visiting the National Monument (Monas) at night seems to be an option at the weekend this December. This is because there are interesting performances and Monas night tours that can be enjoyed.

Launching from Instagram @monumen.nasional, Monas will be open until the evening on the weekend starting December 14, 2024. During weekdays or Mondays to Fridays, Monas is open to the public from 08.00 to 18.00.

For the new weekend open schedule, Monas is open to the public from 08.00 to 22.00 WIB. The new open rules this weekend allow visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the City of Jakarta from Monas at night.

This Monas night tour reopens only specifically for the Christmas and New Year holidays (Nataru). During the night tour at Monas this weekend, visitors can enjoy showing a beautiful dance fountain for free until the end of December 2024.

"Monas is stunning again! The Monas Dance Fountain has succeeded in bringing a warm night. Watch the Monas Fountain show again on Saturdays and Sundays over the weekend of December 2024," wrote the account @monumen.national.

However, keep in mind that fountain performances are only carried out at certain hours. On Saturdays and Sundays, session 1 starts at 19.30-20.00, and session 2 starts at 20.30-21.00.

To enter the Monas area, visitors do not need to pay for entrance tickets or free. However, if you want to visit the Monas Peak and History Museum at Monas, visitors must pay for tickets.

Ticket prices to Puncak Monas are worth IDR 24 thousand for dewsasa, IDR 13 thousand for students, and IDR 6 thousand for children. Meanwhile, to enter the History Museum, visitors must pay an entrance ticket of IDR 8 thousand for adults, IDR 5 thousand for students, and IDR 3 thousand for children.
