Just Two Months In Office, Maruarar Sirait Pamer 30,000 House Units Have Built

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait or Ara said that they had distributed 30,000 cheap housing units to the community for two months in office.

Ara explained that the majority of the houses were distributed thanks to the support of state policies related to the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP).

"Then we report it to this day, in the past two months thanks to the support of the President, the Coordinating Minister, and the Minister of Finance, we have built and handed over to the community around 30,000 housing units per day," said Ara at a press conference on the Economic Stimulus Package for Welfare at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy Office, Jakarta, Monday, December 16.

Ara said the majority of the housing was channeled through the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) scheme of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. (BBTN).

In line with this, Ara ensured that the FLPP program would continue.

In addition to effectively encouraging public home ownership, this program is also considered to have benefited many developers to the banking industry itself.

"The government will also allocate it for FLPP next year. This program is very good because it is very attractive to the public and developers, as well as the NPL level (credit of traffic jams) is very low. So, this is a very good program, I will continue," he added.
