Members Of The Indonesian House Of Representatives Donate 100 Percent Of Salaries For Body Drivers
JAKARTA - Member of Commission XIII DPR RI from the PAN faction H. Arisal Aziz donated 100 percent of his salary to code the bodies in Padang Pariaman Regency and Pariaman City, West Sumatra because he considered that the profession had minimal attention, including from the government.
"In accordance with my commitment during the campaign. All my salaries, I leave them to the profit (man's bathing) and sweet potatoes (women's corpse bathing) in Padang Pariaman Regency and Pariaman City," said H. Arisal Azis on the sidelines of a recess at V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman, Sunday.
He said he had collected his salary as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the last three months which was then handed over to around 380 body coders in the two areas with an individual amount of Rp. 400 thousand.

He conveyed that the commitment to donate all his salaries would be maintained as long as he was a member of the DPR RI and made efforts to continue to make it happen even though he no longer represented the people at the central government level.
"God willing, this will continue as long as I have sustenance, whether or not I am in the DPR RI, I will help the community, help people in need," he said.
He explained the reason he donated his salary to code the bodies was because he considered that the community group had minimal attention even from the government even though its existence was needed.
"I feel obliged to help the 'labai' and 'ubiah'," he said.
Meanwhile, one of the collectors of the body of the beneficiary Zamar expressed his appreciation to the member of the DPR RI for paying attention to them.
"Thank you sir, this is actually your right, but you gave it to us," he said.
