Shooting In Ciracas, Police Will Test Ballistics

Joint officers from the East Jakarta Metro Police and Ciracas Police conducted a crime scene (TKP) shooting of a firearm which resulted in a woman motorcyclist being injured in the left temple.

"We received information that the victim asked for help. (victims) of women on behalf of Yeti, there were abrasions on the left temple and broken house glass. Meanwhile, at the TKP projectile was found," said Ciracas Police Chief, Kompol Agung when confirmed, Thursday, September 19.

Joint forces are still in the process of investigating who the shooter was. The police will also test the sharp bullet projectiles to the Puslabfor Police Headquarters.

"Temporary suspicion (of firearms). We will test the ballistics first. The victim will temporarily report one person," he said.

Furthermore, Kompol Agung said that the evidence confiscated was a live bullet projectile from the scene.

"Meanwhile, we are seeing sharp projectiles (bullets). We are still investigating where the projectile came from," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a motorcycle rider was shot by a stray bullet as a result of a firearm eruption while crossing Jalan Kampung Baru 1, Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, Thursday, September 19.

The victim with the initials YT suffered a wound on the left temple due to a stray bullet. Luckily, the victim was only hit by a sharp bullet that passed around his head.
