Vice President Ma'ruf Asks The U-17 National Team To Play Out Against Morocco
BANDUNG - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin asked the Indonesian National Team to give all its abilities and play hard against Morocco in the final preliminary match of Group A of the U-17 World Cup at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya, East Java.
"I ask to play 'all out' and as hard as I can, the period can balance Ecuador, it can balance Panama, the period cannot be balanced with Morocco," said the Vice President on the sidelines of a working visit in Bandung, West Java, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 16.
The vice president acknowledged that the Morocco national team was very strong to be conquered in the green field.
"Yesterday at the 2022 World Cup, he entered the semifinals, which means he is quite strong," he explained. However, Vice President Ma'ruf still hopes that Indonesia can win the match by appearing as strong as possible against Morocco so that he can qualify for the round of 16.
Previously, Indonesia U-17 National Team Coach Bima Sakti Tukiman reminded his team to reduce individual mistakes against Morocco in the final preliminary match of Group A of the U-17 World Cup at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya, Thursday night.
"We have to press quickly, we will press them so they cannot develop. But, again, the players have to do well, just reduce individual mistakes," said Bima Sakti on the sidelines of the national team's training at the Gelora Stadium on November 10, Surabaya, Wednesday (15/11).
