VIDEO: Prabowo Subianto's 'Good Neighbor Policy' Concept During Speech At CSIS
JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto was present at Pakarti Building, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Monday 13 November. There Prabowo addressed the theme of Foreign Political Direction and Strategy. Prabowo Subianto explained the concept of 'Good Neighbor Policy' which will form the basis for his foreign policy if he is elected President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024.
According to him, the policy is rooted in Indonesia's foreign political tradition which has had a clear position since the beginning of independence. The Minister of Defense also said that Indonesia has an independent policy guided by values not to become a member of any geopolitical block. Apart from historical factors and geographical positions, Prabowo said that Indonesia is experiencing the momentum of a great civilization.
So, Prabowo wants to reflect the current national interests that are intersections and in the middle of trade routes. Prabowo respects several major countries such as the United States, China and Russia who are in close relations with Indonesia. Ignoring the principle from Prabowo, namely that there are too few friends, one enemy is too many.
He also applies this in his domestic political affairs. In the midst of a great civilization, until in the midst of major conflicts that occur abroad, Prabowo Subianto chose not to join any block. Watch the video below.
