The Indonesian Fintech Association Hopes That The Fintech Industry Will Continue To Grow In 2024
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Fintech Association (Aftech) is optimistic that the fintech industry will continue to grow in 2024, driven by innovation and high use of technology in society.
Executive Director of the Indonesian Fintech Association (Aftech), Aries Setiadi said the fintech industry will continue to grow with various innovations in the future so that it can increase efficiency in society.
"In the future, innovation will make it easier again and the aspects are also not only facilitation, agricultural health digitization, cooperation between sectors and between technology-based financial services," Aries said at the completion of the National Fintech Month event, Wednesday, November 1.
Aries hopes that the elected presidential and vice presidential pairs in the future can have attention and understanding in supervising the fintech industry and providing a forum for innovation.
"Three couples, if we look at the vision and mission that are now seen in the public, also quite a good concern for the digital economy of each couple. They have also been informed of the existence of fintech and the existence of a digital economy," he said.

Aries said that the number of illegal fintechs is increasing so that the government in the next period is expected to continue to carry out financial literacy education programs throughout the community so that it can fortify itself.
Furthermore, in terms of regulators, they hope to be more assertive in cracking down on illegal fintech players, and the fintech industry is expected to always develop and create the latest innovations.
"It is very certain that you want (the presidential candidate to eradicate illegal loans), in the association members it must be legal fintech. Fintech that is legal follows the requirements for long registration requirements, requires certification and others," said Aries.
