Prabowo: Age Is Not A Consideration In Giveing Authority
JAKARTA - The presidential candidate from the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto rejects the assumption that age will have an influence on a person's authority.
"So I don't think age is a criterion, but desire and intention. There are young people whose intentions are just spree, there are parents and their lives are hedon," Prabowo said while attending the declaration of young volunteers who were members of the State Successor in Djakarta Theater, Jakarta, Saturday.
He admitted to giving authority to people he considered to have abilities and expertise.
"I don't care whose background, whose parents, race, religion. If he was really capable, eager, intending, and had good intentions, that's what I've been pushing, it's always been my establishment and beliefs," he said.
