Prabowo-Gibran Series Of Events Register To KPU Today, Registration Colored By Cultural Parade

JAKARTA - The pair who will be presidential and vice presidential candidates from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka will certainly register with the KPU, Wednesday, October 25 morning.

This was revealed by the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani after discussing with the secretary-general of the KIM party at the house of Jalan Sriwijaya Number 35, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 24 afternoon.

"So we from representatives of the political parties supporting KIM have just held a meeting, and as a result, we inform that the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair from KIM will register with the Central KPU on Wednesday, October 25 morning," said Ahmad Muzani.

Before registering at the KPU, the Prabowo and Gibran couple gathered at Prabowo's residence on Jalan Kertanegara. Furthermore, the group will meet with volunteers at the Indonesia Arena Stadium, GBK, Senayan to declare their candidacy for Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election.

"Prospective president and vice presidential candidate from KIM will address his volunteers at around 08.00 WIB in the morning," said Muzani.

From the Indonesia Arena Stadium, Prabowo and Gibran will go to the KPU to register and are scheduled to arrive around 10.00 WIB.

"They will immediately go to Taman Suropati Menteng Jakarta to hold a cultural parade by involving all levels of society with plans to wear their respective traditional clothes to then walk to the central KPU and register around 10.00 WIB," he said again.

Ahmad Muzani apologized if the registration process for Prabowo and Gibran would hinder the activities of the people of Jakarta whose route was missed by the couple.

"We apologize to the people of Jakarta, especially those who are active in areas that will be the travel route for the Prabowo and Gibran pairs who will register with the central KPU, and please pray that it will be carried out," he said.
