"Currently it has been running to Nunukan Regency. We have checked everything for Nunukan as many as 70 connections and next week it will be on, such as in Sebatik, Tulin Onsoi and Lumbis," he said, Monday, October 23.
Abdul Muis said that his party was still coordinating to ensure the Governor's willingness to inaugurate electricity installation assistance in Nunukan Regency.
"I have confirmed it with a partner in the fourth week, because it will be inaugurated by the Governor," he explained.
Installation began in March through a data verification process and field surveys to determine the coordinates. After that, cooperate with partners to contract according to the procedure.
This is because the procedure is from a partner installing installation, registering an Operational LIKE Certificate (SLO) and then is issued with a SLO and then registered with PLN until you get a meter, this process takes several weeks.
"The procedure is like that, for Kwh meter it is PLN's authority while the SLO of the relevant ministries has appointed a verified institution for its issuance," he explained.
Several places have been installed, such as Bulungan in the Transmigration SP, which has not enjoyed electricity for 11 years, finally installed an electric connection, the city of Tarakan in Tanjung Pasir Mambirdan Fisherman Village.
According to him, this program is in accordance with the 5th Governor's mission, which is to realize the improvement of rural, inland, urban, coastal and border infrastructure development.
The goal is to increase regional mobilization and productivity in the context of equitable development. In addition, the installation of free electricity to improve the quality of community welfare at the IKN gate.
"Equivalence of electricity access continues to be carried out to remote areas of North Kalimantan Province so that the electrification ratio target can be achieved by 100 percent by 2026," he concluded.
