In The Indicator Survey, Erick Thohir Boosts Voters For Prabowo Instead Of Gibran Or Khofifah
JAKARTA - The latest survey results from Indonesian Political Indicators show that SOE Minister Erick Thohir is able to increase the voice of public support for Prabowo Subianto's presidential candidate.The survey noted that if Prabowo Subianto was duet with Erick Thohir, he would achieve the highest support of 38.8 percent, followed by the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair with 32.6 percent, and Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with 21.2 percent."In the simulation of three couples, the Prabowo-Erick duet was superior to Anies-Muhaimin or Ganjar-Mahfud," said Executive Director of Indonesian Political Indicators Burhanuddin Muhtadi when presenting the survey results quoted from Antara, Friday, October 20.The Indonesian Political Indicators Survey entitled 'Splits Support For Parties And Presidential Candidates Ahead Of Registration For Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates 2024.'Erick Thohir, he said, also controls more support for Prabowo Subianto compared to Gibran Rakabuming Raka or Khofifah Indar Parawansa if the duet is simulated.The survey findings noted that if Prabowo was simulated with Gibran, he would achieve 37.5 percent support in the simulation of three pairs that placed Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.“ When Prabowo was duet with Khofifah, dealing with Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud, his level of support again decreased. This is because Khofifah only controls support by 37.1 percent,” said Burhanuddin.The survey, which was conducted from October 2 to 10, 2023, was conducted with a survey population consisting of Indonesian citizens who have the right to vote in the election, namely those aged 17 years or older, or were married when the survey was conducted.Sampling was carried out using a multistage random sampling method which was attended by 1,200 respondents with over samples in 12 provinces, bringing the total sample to 4,300 respondents. The survey margin of error is around 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
