Jokowi Did Not Attend The Declaration Of Vice Presidential Candidate Ganjar, Where?
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is confirmed not to attend directly the declaration of a candidate for vice president (cawapres) from the presidential candidate (candidate) promoted by PDIP Ganjar Pranowo, Wednesday 18 October. This is because President Jokowi is currently in China to make a series of working visits in Beijing. Quoted from the statement of the Presidential Secretariat, President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana will attend various important events on the third day of a working visit in Beijing, the People's Republic of China (RRT). Jokowi is first scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of the 3rd Belt Road Forum (BRF) Summit at the Great Hall of The People, Beijing. Furthermore, at the same location, Jokowi will attend a lunch with the Chairman of the National People's Congress. Meanwhile, Mrs. Iriana will follow the series of BRF's 3rd Summit companion programs by visiting the China National Arts and Craft Museum to witness the art and handicraft of the RRT. In the afternoon, President Jokowi will attend the High-Level Forum and Thematic Forum Event: Connectivity in an Open Global Economy which will be held at the China National Convention Center, Beijing. After completing the events in Beijing, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana will depart from Beijing Capital International Airport and continue their working visits by going to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
