Lemhanas Governor Andi Widjajanto Reluctant To Talk About His Involvement In The TPN Structure

JAKARTA - The Governor of the Indonesian National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) Andi Widjajanto is still reluctant to discuss his involvement in the structure of the President Ganjar National Winning Team (TPN).

Andi Widjajanto said that the question should be asked outside of Lemhannas activities and outside of his agenda as Governor of Lemhannas.

"It is better to ask other relevant buildings," said Andi Widjajanto briefly during a press conference on the sidelines of a national seminar held by Lemhannas in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 11.

Andi on several occasions has not disclosed his involvement in the TPN structure or other political agendas related to the victory of Ganjar Pranowo as president despite having attended the Presidential Ganjar TPN meeting at the High End Building, Jakarta, October 4, 2023.

Related to that, Andi when met by a number of journalists at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (4/10), said that any assignment to him depended on the decision of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

"Depending on the President, what kind of assignment will be," said Andi.

He also admitted that he did not know the information about him entering the structure of Ganjar's winning team.

Meanwhile, PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto when met after the TPN Ganjar meeting at the High End Building on October 4 explained Andi's presence as one of the speakers.

"We invited him as a resource person to provide input," said Hasto.

Andi in the 2014 Presidential Election (Pilpres) and the 2019 Presidential Election were involved in winning President Joko Widodo. In the 2019 Presidential Election, Andi carried out his duties as Chairman of the Cakra Team 19.

The Cakra 19 team was President Jokowi's winning team when he advanced for the second term in the 2019 presidential election. The majority of the team consisted of retired TNI.

Ganjar Pranowo is currently a presidential candidate supported by the PDI-P, PPP, Hanura Party, and Perindo.

PDI-P and supporting parties Ganjar last month announced their TPN led by the Chairman of KADIN Arsjad Rasjid. Arsjad was accompanied by four deputy chairmen, namely the former TNI Commander General Purn. Andika Perkasa, former Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Purn. Gatot Eddy Pramono, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Angela Tanoesoedibjo, and Chairman of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency Benny Rhamdani.
