IMOS 2023 Is Expected To Be A Momentum For The Growth Of Motorcycle Sales In Indonesia
JAKARTA - The Indonesia Motorcycles Show (IMOS) exhibition, which was held at the end of October, is expected to encourage sales of two-wheeled vehicles in Indonesia.
This was revealed by the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) Johannes Loman, who said that the presence of the exhibition could stimulate sales, and could meet the target set at 5.8-6 million units.
"This exhibition, which will become an annual agenda, is expected to stimulate sales for the motorcycle industry," he said, quoted from the ANTARA website, Wednesday, October 4.
Based on several positive achievements and economic growth after the pandemic, AISI dared to set more targets, even up to 6.2 million units.
"This year the target is 5.8 million, but if you look at it until August it has touched 4.2 million, we hope it can reach 6.1-6, 2 million," he added.
On the same occasion, AISI also encouraged two-wheeled players to accelerate the presence of electric vehicles, which are currently being boosted by the government.
Later AISI will also feature various products and technology of environmentally friendly vehicles, as a real effort towards accelerating the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) industry.

"We want IMOS + to be a place for education that reaches consumers directly, especially related to the latest technological developments in the industry. Therefore, we organize it every year so that consumer needs can always be met and updated," he explained.
IMOS 2023 will take place in a new location, namely ICE BSD, Tangerang. The choice of this location aims to provide comfort because it has a large and strategic place.
