At The Palace, Deputy Minister Affirms No More Confiscation Events
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Agriculture (Wamentan) Harvick Hasnul Qolbi stated that there had never been a scattering and strangulation incident carried out by the General Chairperson of Gerindra as well as the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto to him.
"Wow, I've already answered that, there is no (surption and strangulation), nothing at all," said Harvick Hasnul Qolbi at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, after attending a limited meeting mitigating the impact of the el nino phenomenon with President Joko Widodo as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 3.
Information about the incident of slapping and strangling that was linked to Prabowo as the perpetrator, the first time he appeared on social media and went viral a few weeks ago.
This information narrates the impacting incident carried out by a presidential candidate at the Presidential Palace ahead of a limited meeting because the Ministry of Agriculture is considered not to support one of the programs assigned by President Jokowi to him.
The daily chairman of the Gerindra DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, has clarified that the issue addressed to Prabowo Subianto is an effort to cover up the support provided by the Democratic Party to Prabowo as a presidential candidate.
Previously, Prabowo Subianto had also responded to the issue and stated that he had not met with Harvick Hasnul Qolbi.
"I just met the deputy minister," he said after visiting the main weapon system (alutsista) factory PT Pindad in West Java, on Tuesday (19/9).
Prabowo, through his spokesman, said he would not file the issue into the realm of law.
