Visit Blok A Tanah Abang, Zulhas Wholesale Trader's Merchandise

JAKARTA - Trade Minister (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan bought goods sold by traders in Block A Tanah Abang.

This visit was carried out after banning social media such as the TikTok platform from selling.

During his visit, Zulhas, Zulkifli Hasan's nickname, visited the traders at Tanah Abang Market.

He also bought merchandise owned by traders.

Zulhas revealed that the reason he bought up merchant merchandise every time he made a working visit to markets.

He said this was done so that traders would not be angry when their shop visited.

When I go to the shopping market. If we come, no one will shop hard, just watch. Doesn't people talk? Isn't the trade angry? Yes, angry," he said at Tanah Abang Market, Central Jakarta, Thursday, September 28.

"So we trade my spending too when going to the market to buy, buy vegetables to buy fish. At least what we passed was disturbed, he did not lose at least," he continued.

At the beginning of his arrival at Tanah Abang Market, Zulhas came to a clothing trader named Anna (25).

While listening to Anna's complaints, Zulhas also bought his merchandise.

"I bought one Kodi (20 pieces). Later, if there are women shopping, give them one by one," said Zulhas.

Zulhas continued his visit, he stopped at a Muslim clothing store for men. He also asked about the trading conditions at the time.

Then, Zulhas said he would buy 10 pieces of koko shirt at a price of IDR 60,000 per cut.

He also issued six pieces of Rp100,000 denominations.

"Yes, I bought 10 pieces," said Zulhas.

Furthermore, Zulhas also visited accessories traders at the same location. He also bought up the merchant's merchandise again with a nominal value of IDR 600,000.

Then, Zulhas continued his visit to the 3rd floor.

He went to the bag and suitcase traders. After asking about the condition of the sale, he returned to buy goods sold for Rp. 400,000 for two bags.

"I bought two bags," he said.
