Free Trial Tickets For The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train After Ordered

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) noted that 98 percent of tickets for the Jakarta-Bandung fast train (KA) rapid trial had been ordered by the public for the scheduled departure of 18-24 September 2023.

"Currently, the tickets ordered have reached 98 percent for the September 18-24 2023 departure schedule. For people who have not received tickets, registration will then be opened on September 24 for a trial trip schedule of September 25-30, 2023," said KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa through a statement received in Jakarta, Sunday 17 September.

The free-paid fast train trial with passengers will be carried out until September 30, 2023 with a limited quota, which is 500 seats for every fast train trip.

During the limited rapid train trial period with passengers, every day KCIC provides four round-trip travel schedules (PP) so that a total of eight train trips operate every day during the trial period.

Of the four schedules, two of them are departures from Halim Station, East Jakarta and two departures from Tegalluar Station, Bandung Regency with departure times, namely the relationship between Halim-Tegalluar PP Station at 09.00 WIB and 14.00 WIB and the relationship between Tegalluar-Halim PP Station at 09.00 WIB and 14.00 WIB.

"People who have registered should pay attention to the selected travel schedule and come as late as 1 hour before the scheduled departure and prepare well for identity and proof of order to expedite the verification process at the station," Eva continued.

Meanwhile, the registration for the free rapid train trial was opened in stages with the provisions, namely that phase I registration was opened on September 17, 2023 for the September 18-24 2023 departure schedule; Phase II registration was opened on September 24 for departure from September 25-30, 2023; after registering, prospective passengers will get an email as proof of registration; one registrant can order for a maximum of two passengers.

Then, one NIK can only place an order once during the trial period; the customer is required to fill in his personal data and select the departure schedule and agree to applicable terms and conditions; travel is valid round and must follow according to the train schedule and on the D day of the trip, prospective passengers are required to verify with KCIC officers by showing proof of registration and identity card.
