KPU Cianjur Recorded 3 Village Heads Entering The Babeleg List
The General Election Commission (KPU) of Cianjur Regency, West Java, noted that three village heads registered as candidates for legislative members in the 2024 General Election. So far, only two people have submitted their resignation letters.Cianjur Regency KPU Technical Division Coordinator Ridwan Abdullah said, in accordance with PKPU number 10 of 2023, balaleg who works as village head, members of the TNI/Polri and ASN must resign from their positions before entering DCT."The resignation statement letter should have been submitted to the KPU through the Candidate Information System (Silon) at the time of submitting registration on May 1-14, 2023, but three people based on reports from residents still serving as village heads," he said in Cianjur as quoted by Antara, Sunday, September 10.His party sent notifications to political party officials to immediately complete the requirements for the resignation letter of baulaleg, who is still serving as village head in Cianjur, currently one Bacaleg person is still in the process of being resigned."The nomination of DPR members, Provincial DPRD and Regency/City DPRD," said Ridwan, who works as village head, TNI/Polri, ASN and so on who are financed by the state must make a letter of resignation and cannot be revoked and must attach a letter of dismissal decision."Now the resignation letter has been completed and there is already a decree for the dismissal of the two people, while another one is still in process. We have also conveyed that there are village officials who enter as legislators to the relevant agencies," he said.Before the letter came in, his party asked for political parties and from balaleg who were still serving as village heads and village officials to come to the Cianjur KPU Office, given the option of continuing the candidacy accompanied by an official certificate or resignation.Head of Village Management and Cooperation Division of the Cianjur Regency Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD), Dendy Kristanto, said that the Cianjur KPU prior to the determination of the Temporary Candidate List (DCS) recorded three advanced village heads as baulaleg.The three village heads are Sukajaya Village Head, Bojongpicung District and Cibadak Village Head, Sukaresmi District and Sukamulya Village Head, Cikadu District. Two village heads have been handed over a letter of dismissal while one other person is still in process."For the Village Head of Sukajaya and Cibadak Village before the determination of the DCS, the process of dismissal has now been carried out by the Acting Village Head (Pj), while the Sukamulya Village Head is still in the process of dismissal and his letter has been sent," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding village officials who run as baulaleg from Bunisari Village, Warungkondang District, the process is under the authority of the village head, so his party encourages the sub-district head to carry out supervision and immediately process his dismissal because it has entered the DCS.
