Prosecutor's Office Waits For Audit Results To Determine Corruption Suspect At Mukomuko Hospital
BENGKULU - Mukomuko District Attorney, Bengkulu, is still waiting for the results of the audit of the investigation into state losses to determine the suspect involved in the alleged corruption case in the budget for the local public hospital.
"Our wish this month that the calculation of state losses has been completed in order to immediately determine the suspect," said Head of Special Crimes at the Mukomuko District Attorney's Office, Agung Malik Rahman Haki, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, September 7.
For the purposes of the audit, the Mukomuko Kejari requested assistance from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) to obtain certainty about the value of state losses caused by the alleged corruption case in the RSUD budget.
According to Agung, investigators have pocketed a number of names that have the potential to become potential suspects. The number is more than three people and they are the main actors in the case that occurred from 2016 to 2021.
The total state loss, which was initially estimated at around Rp. 1 billion, swelled to around Rp. 2.5 billion.
Agung Malik added that investigators had previously examined as many as 10 witnesses from the leadership of a drug supplier company to Mukomuko Hospital. The examination was to find out about the sales invoices and orders for medicines requested by the RSUD.

In the process of ordering the drugs, continued Agung, there were management of the Mukomuko Hospital directly and some were shopping using the e-catalog system.
Types of orders from the Mukomuko Hospital range from generic drugs to medical devices. Even though the drugs have been ordered, the RSUD has not paid for them and is still in debt.
"The proof of the order does exist and there is also debt, but it must be proven by the drug supplier first because when they are examined they have not brought the invoice and evidence," he said.
