Tabalong Police Confiscate Tens Of Thousands Of Forbidden Drugs Purchased Online

Deputy Head of Tabalong Police, South Kalimantan, Kompol Taufiq Arifin said tens of thousands of illegal drugs or without distribution permits were confiscated from perpetrators who bought online or online via WhatsApp messages.

"The total amount of drugs without distribution permits that we have secured as many as 23,781 pills from the three suspects have been arrested," said Kompol Taufiq as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 6.

He said, each drug with a yellow color without a brand (dextro) was 13,220 pills and white (yuirmando) 10,561 pills from the perpetrator, namely NA (28), RM (22), MA (28) who were arrested at different locations.

"Disclosure of drug trafficking without a distribution permit," said Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKP Fathony Bahrul Arifin, the results of the investigation and investigation with the South Kalimantan Police's Narcotics Directorate.

"The perpetrators are the targets of drug trafficking operations without a distribution permit in the Tabalong area," explained Bahrul.

He said the three perpetrators were arrested in Muara Uya, Haruai and Mabu'un sub-districts with threats of Article 53 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 45/35 of the Health Law with a maximum imprisonment of 12 years or a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.

Bahrul explained that the confessions of the perpetrators of the illegal drugs were sold at a price three times the purchase price, the target buyer of students and teenagers.

"One point can be sold for Rp. 3,000 even though it is only Rp. 1,000 per item, so the profit is quite large," he explained.

Currently, the perpetrators of the drug dealers have been detained for further examination and legal proceedings for their act of distributing dangerous and illegal drugs.
