Jokowi Responds To The Indonesian Coalition Forward Prabowo: It's Up To The Party, Why Should It Be A Permit? Everything Is OK
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo said there was no patent related to the new name of the coalition announced by the chairman of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, namely the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.
"Indonesia Maju" is the name of the cabinet of the government led by President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin for the 2019 '2024 period.
"Yes, it's up to those who have a coalition. It's up to the party," said President Jokowi after attending the opening of the XVIII National Working Meeting of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association in 2023 at ICE, BSD City, Tangerang Regency, Banten, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 31.
President Jokowi considers it the right of each party to carry the name of the coalition.
The Head of State said that Prabowo as a presidential candidate promoted by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition did not have to apply for permission to use the cabinet name as the name of the new coalition.
"Why do you have to get permission? Everything is okay. People you want to use your tv, Indonesian TV Maju is also allowed. There is no patent," said Jokowi.
