Searching 2 Related Offices Of Corruption, Batanghari Prosecutor's Office Brings Documents And Seals Several Rooms
JAMBI - The Batanghari Special Criminal Investigation Team (Kejari), Jambi conducted a search of two agencies and a subsidized fertilizer retailer kiosk related to alleged corruption in the distribution of subsidized fertilizers for farmers or farmer groups in the district in 2020-2022.Head of the Information and Law Section (Kasi Penkum) of the Jambi Prosecutor's Office, Lexy Fatharani, said that the two agencies that investigators searched were the Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Service and the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs, Industry and Trade as well as the Endah Tani retailer stall in Batanghari Regency.The search was carried out after the Batanghari District Attorney's Special Investigation Team raised the status of handling cases of alleged corruption in the distribution of subsidized fertilizers for farmers/farm groups during 2020-2022 and from the search, investigators confiscated evidence of several related documents from the two agencies and kiosks for fertilizer retailers."Two agencies were searched, namely the Department of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and the Batanghari Regency Cooperatives and MSMEs Office, as an effort to investigate allegations of corruption in the distribution of subsidized fertilizers, led directly by Kasi Pidsus Fariz Rachman and Kasi Intel Aulia Rachman," said Lexy in Jambi, Antara, Friday, August 25.
For more than three hours, the officers finally confiscated several documents and sealed several rooms at the Batanghari Regency Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Service.Then the Kejari team also searched the Trade Office, Cooperatives for Small and Medium Enterprises in Batanghari Regency.The team also brought a number of documents and several rooms were sealed.
