An Ojol Driver was Robbed by His Passenger, Threatened With Sickle On His Neck, Motorcycle was Taken Away
JAKARTA - FRM, an online motorcycle taxi (ojol) driver became the victim of a robbery carried out by two people posing as service users in the Kota Bambu Selatan area, Palmerah District, West Jakarta. The two perpetrators with the initials HKY (27) and J (28) were caught by the police.
Initially, HKY ordered an online motorcycle taxi, then the victim was directed to Kota Bambu Selatan. After the victim came to Kota Bambu Selatan according to the point requested by the perpetrator, suddenly the perpetrator immediately pointed a sickle at the victim's neck.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator with the initials J also approached the victim while also holding the victim using a sharp weapon. As a result of this incident, the victim's motorbike was lost and seized by the two perpetrators.
The Palmerah Police Chief Commissioner Dodi Abdulrohim said, after receiving the victim's report, the Palmerah Police Criminal Unit immediately pursued the perpetrators.
However, the two perpetrators pawned the motorbike to one of the residents with a nominal value of IDR 2 million. The money is used to meet the needs of everyday life.

"From the results of the statement, the perpetrator admitted that this was the first time he had committed theft with violence. Meanwhile, the results of the urine tests for the two perpetrators were declared negative for narcotics," he continued.
As a result of their actions, the two perpetrators were charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) concerning theft with violence.
