Jealousy Motives, Women In Sukabumi Persecuted 9 Men To Heads Run Over By Motorcycles

SUKABUMI - A woman in Sukabumi, West Java became a victim of abuse allegedly carried out by nine men. The persecution took place on Friday at Jalan Pramuka, Cikondang Village, Citamiang District, Sukabumi City.

The act of persecution was recorded by residents and went viral on social media (medsos). In the video footage, it can be seen that the victim was abused by being dragged away, then run over by motorbike.

An eye witness, Ikhwan (35), said that before the persecution took place, an unknown number of youths suddenly came and hung out next to his stall, he soon heard a commotion.

"So they (the perpetrators) gathered at this warteg, I was sitting playing cellphones waiting for customers. There were two people who came here, one wearing a helmet, one wearing a black swimsuit. He said that the frontal wanted to make a fuss. I've expelled him so don't fight here. Just said that, immediately fighting hit," he said Sunday, August 6.

Meanwhile, the Head of Citamiang Police, Iptu Iwan Hendi Sutisna, said the chronology of the persecution began when the main perpetrator with the initials R, contacted and invited the victim with the initials PM at the scene. When the victim arrived, the alleged perpetrator and his friends immediately assaulted the victim.

"The perpetrator immediately took the victim to a rather quiet place, and together with his friends immediately carried out the persecution. After that the victim was taken to the street, dragged and then one of the perpetrators ran over the victim's head," said Iwan.

The motive for the perpetrators of the abuse of the victim was due to romance or jealousy. "Until now, the results of our investigation show that the motive for the incident is known from jealousy," he said.

Currently, the police have only arrested one person. And the other perpetrator is still being chased by the Citamiang Police, Sukabumi City Police.
