Jasa Marga Records LHR Volume Capai 3.4 Million Vehicles In Semester I 2023
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) noted that the average daily traffic volume (LHR) reached 3.47 million vehicles, until Semester I of 2023. This number increased 1.43 percent compared to normal LHR before the COVID-19 pandemic in February 2020.
Jasa Marga's Cowork Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said that the current LHR has increased from normal LHR before the pandemic was in line with the improving economy after the COVID-19 pandemic which also had a direct impact on community mobility.
"When compared to normal LHR before the pandemic of 3.42 million vehicles, the increase in mobility in 2023 shows the post-pandemic economic recovery with the return to normal community activities/activity," he said in a written statement, Tuesday, July 25.
Lisye added that one of the factors that increased LHR in Semester 1 2023 was the increase in mobility after the revocation of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) and the support of homecoming activities by the government.
This volume increase is also in line with improving the quality of operational services provided by Jasa Marga Group to road users, one of which is the development of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) technology.

"This technology functions to manage integrated toll road services, as well as become a source of traffic information centers," he said.
According to Lisye, ITS technology was developed with the aim of increasing the safety, smoothness and comfort of toll road users.
"This system is mainly used for calculating the volume of vehicle traffic, detection of speed violations, detection of overloaded vehicle violations and detection of two-wheeled vehicles, efficiency and optimization of loads, to the effectiveness of business processes to increase satisfaction of toll road users and implementation of Jasa Marga Group's Big Data," he said.
The three Jasa Marga Group Toll Roads with the highest LHR in the Semester 1 of 2023 (January-June) period, namely the Inner City Toll Road with a total LHR of 535 thousand vehicles, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road with a total LHR of 450 thousand vehicles, and the Jagorawi Toll Road with a total LHR of 408 thousand vehicles.
