Before recognizing the Pit Box, you should first know what the paddock is. The paddock is a special area that is the parking space for racing motorbike trucks, car support areas, to all the needs of the racing team. Inside the paddock there is a box room or Pit Box which is a temporary garage and access to Pit Lane.
Pit Boxes only contain racing motorbikes, racers, mechanics, and a number of parts for racing motorbikes. For complete or large spare parts, they are usually placed in the Pit Area behind the Pit Box.
Pit Box is the most privacy area for a racing team, so it should not be accessed by just anyone. Because inside this Pit Box is like a place to store the secrets of each racing team in preparing their combat weapons to win races. Usually Pit Boxes will be closed when there is an assembly or modification of motorcycle parts and drafting a racing strategy.
Pit Lane is the area that is right in front of the Pit Box. This area is a route out and enters the racer from Pit Box to the race track. Usually this area will be very busy when the race starts soon. This area is usually filled by Pit Crew who prepares racing motorbikes, to media journalists covering the race.
When heading for the race track, the riders are not allowed to pass Pit Lane by speeding or fast. The speed at Pit Lane is limited to a maximum of 60 km/hour. The rule is called Pit Limiter. If there are riders who violate it, they will get a long lap penalty, which racers must travel the farthest distance on the track.
