Police Will Coordinate With Tangerang District Court Regarding Domestic Violence Suspects Who Are Also Recidivists
TANGERANG - South Tangerang Police will coordinate with the Tangerang District Court (PN) regarding the suspect in Domestic Violence (KDRT) BD (38) who is also a drug recidivist.
Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, Ipda Galih, explained the reason why his party was coordinating with the Tangerang District Court. The goal is to ask for evidence of the BD suspect's verdict.
"Investigators will coordinate with the Tangerang District Court to request a quote from the (Drugs) case decision," Galih told reporters Wednesday, July 19.
"So later it will be attached to the filing, which will be used to consider the prosecutor and the judge in the trial process," he continued.
Meanwhile, regarding the complete explanation regarding the suspect's drug case, he admitted that he was reluctant to speculate further. Because it is not his authority.
"Regarding the details of the handling of the case, you can ask the Tangerang District Court. (Because he is the one who) decided the case," he concluded.
Previously, it was reported that the suspect of domestic violence (KDRT) BD (38) against his pregnant wife, TM (23), turned out to have been in prison or recidivist of a drug case. This was also confirmed by the Head of Women and Children Service (PPA) of the South Tangerang Police, Iptu Siswanto.
Sebagai catatan berdasarkan data Sistem Informasi Penelukasan Perkara (SIPP), BD telah dihukum 7 bulan oleh majelis hakim atas kasus narkoba pada di Pengadilan Negeri Tangerang.
"The information is that (red-case) drugs," said Siswanto when confirmed, Sunday, June 16.
However, with the information on the status of the recidivist, said Siswanto, his party cannot assume to increase the heavier article against the suspect. Because that is the authority of the Panel of Judges during the trial later.
"That will be in court as a consideration for the judge in deciding the case," he said.
