The Investment Value Of North Kalimantan Is IDR 3.16 Trillion In The First Quarter Of 2023
JAKARTA - The investment value in the first quarter of 2023 in North Kalimantan Province reached IDR 3.16 trillion, which came from foreign investment (PMA) and domestic investment (PMDN).
"This figure is based on calculations from the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Agency (BKPM)", said North Kalimantan Governor Zainal A Paliwang quoting Antara.
Based on the BKPM target, the achievement of investment realization for the first period reached 10.56 percent of the determination of the 2023 target of IDR 29.98 trillion.
Meanwhile, the percentage of target achievements according to the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (IDR JMD) of North Kalimantan, has reached 45.25 percent of the target value set in 2023 of IDR 7 trillion.
The Governor of North Kalimantan said the achievement of investment realization in the first quarter was able to absorb 1,384 workers.
He also said that the Ministry of Investment/BKPM has set a high investment target for North Kalimantan Province in Regional V, which is IDR 29.98 trillion.
This target was followed by the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands IDR 21.26 trillion, Bengkulu Province IDR 19 trillion, Gorontalo Province IDR 5.48 trillion, West Papua Province IDR 4.61 trillion, and West Sulawesi Province IDR 3.36 trillion.
According to him, the nearly triple increase in investment targets is based on strategic projects in North Kalimantan such as the National Strategic Project (PSN) of the Tanah Kuning-Mangkupadi International Port Industrial Estate (KIPI) in Bulungan Regency, as well as the Kayan Hydro Power Mentararang Hydro Power Hydro Power Project (PLTA) project in Malinau Regency.
"The laying of the first stone for the construction of the big project was carried out by President Joko Widodo", said the Governor of North Kalimantan.
In order for the investment target to be achieved, the North Kalimantan DPMPTSP will actively record reports of investment activities (LKPM) for investors.
Investment realization in North Kalimantan in 2017 reached IDR 2.3 trillion, 2018 of IDR 2.2 trillion, 2019 of IDR 7.6 trillion, 2020 of IDR 3.2 trillion, 2021 of IDR 5.7 trillion, and 2022 of IDR 13.7 trillion.
