JAKARTA - More than a thousand packages of sacrificial beef were distributed by the Central Jakarta City Government to local communities and residents who were indicated to be stunting. This was conveyed by the Secretary of Central Jakarta City, Iqbal Akbarudin after carrying out the process of slaughtering sacrificial animals.

"If at the Mayor's Office there are 400 meat bags that will be distributed to Mrs. Community Package and the Mayor's office officers. For Dharma Jaya there are 700 bags of sacrificial meat, now as many as 300 bags will be distributed to residents who are stunted," Iqbal told reporters, Thursday, June 29.

Furthermore, Iqbal explained, the slaughter of sacrificial animals at Eid al-Adha in 2023 is divided into two locations. The first location is at the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office and the second location is at the Dharma Jaya Slaughterhouse (RPH).

"So for the Central Jakarta Mayor's office, we have sacrificed 4 cows. Then, in Dharma Jaya there are 5 sacrificial cows," he said.

Later, the sacrificial meat will be distributed to the community around the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office. In addition, his party also distributed it to residents who indicated stunting.
