Since Tuesday, 45,806 Jabodetabek Exit Vehicles Have Been Recorded Through GT Cikatama

The length of Eid al-Adha holiday this time is used by the public for holidays and traveling out of town.

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded 45,806 vehicles leaving Jabodetabek towards Palimanan via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT Cikatama) from Tuesday (27/6/2023) at 20.00 WIB to Wednesday at 13.00 WIB.

Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana in Karawang, West Java, Wednesday explained that the Jabodetabek exit traffic is predicted to still increase significantly on Wednesday with a projection of around 181 thousand vehicles.

"Jabodetabek exit traffic is predicted to increase significantly today, with a projection of 181 thousand vehicles, up 37 percent against normal traffic," he said, quoted from ANTARA, Wednesday, June 28.

On Tuesday (27/6/2023) or D-2 before Eid al-Adha, Jasa Marga has recorded as many as 50,082 vehicles leaving Jabodetabek via GT Cikatama. This number marks an increase of 98.28 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, cumulatively, on Tuesday (27/6/2023), Jasa Marga recorded as many as 182,279 vehicles outside the Jabodetabek area.

This figure is from the four main toll gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (to Merak), GT Ciawi (to Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (to Trans Java) and GT Kalihurip Utama (to Bandung). The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabodetabek area rose 43.24 percent when compared to normal traffic.

The Company appealed to road users to anticipate trips before entering the toll road.

Ensure that vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, ensure the adequacy of fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers.
