Preventing Hazardous Diseases, KPKP Officers Check The Health Of Sacrificial Animals From NTB In Kemayoran
JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Marine and Agricultural Food Security Sub-dept. (KPKP) examined a number of sacrificial animals on Jalan Angkasa Blok B, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
"Today we are examining the sacrificial animals in two places. One in the Kemayoran and Menteng areas is to check the health of the animals, whether they are free from attack," said Head of the Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept., Penty Yunesi Pudyastuti to reporters, Tuesday, June 20.
Penty said this examination was carried out by taking several samples from sacrificial animals. Examination of animals such as cows, goats and sheep to ensure the sacrificial animals are in good health.
"This examination continues to be carried out routinely until Eid al-Adha. I can't provide complete data yet, just wait for the Mayor of Central Jakarta later," he said.
In the same place, the Kaaba said the trafficked cattle came from Bima, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). One cow is sold at a price of Rp. 15 million and it is certain that the animal is in good health.
"I brought 60 cows, currently not much has been sold. If the cows are not sold, they will be brought back to Bima," he said.
A number of officers were seen taking blood samples from a number of cows to check the health of the animals. Blood sampling is done by taking blood through the ears.
