JAKARTA PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. (BNI) is said to have succeeded in achieving growth in the wealth management business by 44 percent year on year (yoy) in May 2023.
General Manager of the BNI Wealth Management Division, Henny Eugenia, said that the slick score could not be separated from the company's aggressive efforts to facilitate customers to continue developing their investment portfolios.
"The most significant growth occurred in the sale of bond products," he said in a written statement on Friday, June 9.
According to Henny, this achievement is supported by several factors, including the high interest in customer investment with easy digital transactions.
In addition, he continued, BNI also provides comprehensive assistance and investment advice by considering various kinds of risk profiles and customer needs.
"We continue to encourage increased awareness of potential customers, especially young customers or second generation," he said.
Henny explained that one concrete example is BNI's contribution in marketing Retail SBN Product Sukuk Tabungan series ST010 which can be chosen as an alternative to a safe investment choice for customers with attractive returns. He said investors can purchase every Retail SBN IPO at BNI Mobile Banking.
"Seeing the potential market and the interest of large investment products, we will continue to develop the digitization of wealth management services," he said.
BNI claims the investment platform in BNI Mobile Banking is quite complete and provides convenience for customers to transact, monitor portfolio status, and can monitor all managed customer assets.
"With the combination of the role of advisory with digitalization development, we are increasingly optimistic in the competition for the wealth management industry in Indonesia," he concluded.
