556 Meters Of Kretek II Bridge In Bantul Inaugurated By Jokowi
BANTUL - President Joko Widodo inaugurated the Kretek II Bridge which stretches over the Opak River and connects Tirtohargo Village with Parangtritis Village in Kretek District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region.
"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this morning the Kretek II Bridge in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, I inaugurate it," said President Jokowi at the Kretek II Bantul Bridge, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 2.
The President said that the Kretek II Bridge, which is located above the Opak River, has a length of 556 meters with four lines and was built by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (KemenPUPR) with a budget of Rp364 billion.
"This is a southern route, which we know is 100 percent complete in Banten Province, in West Java Province it has been completed 100 percent, in Central Java it has been completed, in DIY it is not small, God willing, it will be finished," he said.
President Jokowi added that the construction of the southern route in DIY was less than 14 kilometers, then in East Java it was still less than 24 kilometers.
"And God willing, we will finish this year. We hope that with the three routes on the island of Java, the southern, central and northern parts, the smooth logistics, the competitiveness of existing product products will be better," said the President.

The President said that in the past seven years the government has continued to accelerate infrastructure development in the form of toll roads, bridges, dams, ports, airports, and other infrastructure.
