High Demand For Spectre EV, Rolls-Royce: Production Is Alone For More Than A Year
The Spectre EV is the first environmentally friendly luxury vehicle unit from the Rolls-Royce brand. However, customers have to be patient because the demand for this luxury vehicle has exceeded the ordering limit.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Torsten M\"uller-mengatakan bahwa mobil ini membutuhkan proses pengerjaan lebih dari 12-15 bulan.
"If you order it now, then this car will be delivered in 2025," Torsten was quoted as saying by Inside EV, Sunday, May 21.
He added, at the high demand, Rolls-Royce has seen both medium and long-term processes. However, his party is trying not to wait years for the Spectre EV.
"Customers won't like it, although the segment is luxurious, they have to wait say 'two years, three years, or five years' and finally find out that the car has sold out before paving or something like that. I think it's a bad production plan," said Torsten.
According to the official Spectre EV (WLTP) test, which weighs almost 3 tons, it has a distance of up to 500 km in one charge.
The rank is enough to meet customer needs. This gives us the right logic in battery size. A very good balance between reach, battery size, and compromise like what we get with the entire car design," said Torsten.
And after being introduced two years ago, the unit's first shipment will be planned at the end of 2023. The car, which is predicted to replace Dawn, has a combined power of 585 dk and a torque of 900 Nm.
The manufacturer claims that Spectre EVs are capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour within 4.5 seconds.
