Traditional Boat Race Presents 52nd Gold Medal For Indonesia
JAKARTA The Indonesian contingent managed to secure the 52nd gold medal in the Cambodian SEA Games 2023 through the traditional boat race sport.
The gold was obtained by the men's TBR 13 crew number U24 250 meters. This number is the fastest in the final at Kampot City, Prek Kampot, Saturday, May 13, 2023 afternoon WIB.
"Congratulations to the Indonesian team from the traditional boat race which managed to present a gold medal for Indonesia in the men's TBR 13 crew U24 250 meters," wrote the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Indonesian Traditional Boat Race team was lined up to get a gold medal after successfully recording a time of 1 minute 2,852 seconds.
They were followed by the host Cambodia who managed to record a time of 1 minute 3,779 seconds to get a silver medal and Vietnam with a time of 1 minute 4,229 seconds in third place for a bronze medal.
This additional one medal makes Indonesia now a total of 157 medals. The details are 52 gold medals, 43 silver medals, and the rest are bronze medals.
Currently, Indonesia is still in fourth position in the medal standings. The Red and White are behind Vietnam in first place, Thailand in second place, and host Cambodia in third.
