Minister Of PUPR: President Jokowi Review Damaged Roads In Lampung On Friday This Week
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono said President Joko Widodo would review the damaged road in Lampung on Friday, May 5. This schedule was changed from the previous agenda, Wednesday, May 3.Minister Basuki admitted that he did not know the reason for the change in President Jokowi's visit schedule."I don't know. Maybe the schedule is for the President. Ask for the protocol," said Basuki when met at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, May 3.Basuki was reluctant to explain the location plan that President Jokowi would directly review in Lampung.On the previous occasion, Basuki explained President Jokowi's goal to go to Lampung to inspect the damaged roads that went viral on various social media applications.Jokowi also wants to see if local government policies are right in overcoming the road problem.Prior to Jokowi's arrival in Lampung, Basuki emphasized that there was no instant repair for damaged roads in Lampung. However, I am sure there is no order," said Basuki, Tuesday.The condition of the damaged road in Lampung, precisely at Simpang Randu-Seputih Surabaya, Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency, has been in the spotlight on social media in recent weeks after content creator Bima Yudho Saputro expressed criticism about Lampung's development through Tiktok.Bima said Lampung had not made any progress because many roads were damaged.Starting from this content, the creator from East Lampung Regency was reported to the police by an advocate. However, the Lampung Regional Police decided to stop investigating the case related to Bima because no criminal elements were found.
