Chairman Of PP Muhammadiyah After The 2023 Takbir Gema In Yogyakarta

Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive Haedar Nashir released dozens of the 2023 Gema Takbir Jogja contingent at the Gedhe Kauman Mosque Courtyard, Yogyakarta, Thursday night.

The event for the release of traveling takbir participants entitled "Jogja Bertakbir, Brightening Syiar" which was held by the Muhammadiyah Youth Force (AMM) Gondomanan, Yogyakarta City, was also attended by DPD RI member Afnan Hadikusumo.

"Let's carry out this takbir hierarchy in an orderly, safe, comfortable, peaceful and at the same time uphold the togetherness of variousprinciples or groups, all of which are actually one," Haedar said as quoted by Antara.

Haedar hopes that the traveling takbir which is held in the historic mosque will not only be a competition and fight for the title, but as a means of Islamic symbols.

"We are gathered here, of course, it is not a matter of winning. All of them are champions because we broadcast for takbir and welcome Eid al-Fitr. The value of worship is much greater than the trophy," he said.

The traveling takbir involving children, said Haedar, is a very good educational means to instill religious values that are correlated with social life.

"There is a sharia dimension for the good of many people and since childhood they have been trained to socialize, ta'aruf, get to know each other," he said.

In addition, Heedar hopes that the traveling takbir participants will also embed the values of tolerance, including in responding to differences in determining the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
