CINJUR - The Cianjur Regency Government, West Java, ensures that all heads of offices and ASN within the Cianjur Regency Government do not go home and celebrate Eid al-Fitr in a number of villages affected by the earthquake.The Regent of Cianjur, Herman Suherman said, only this year's Eid, all heads of offices, services, and districts should not go home because the condition of residents in a number of sub-districts is still in a state of mourning because they still live in tents and emergency housing."Each service will be asked to hold a joint Eid prayer activity in the village which is represented as a liaison, including holding an open house by preparing various dishes for local residents, so that the presence of the government will be felt by residents," he said in Cianjur, Antara, Monday, April 17.Not only officials within the Cianjur Regency Government, his party also invited residents from various circles to participate in easing the burden on earthquake victims who still survive in tents and emergency housing during Eid.A week before Eid, said Herman, his party had distributed millions of tons of government reserve rice as well as food needs for residents when celebrating Eid, so they no longer need to think about household needs this year's Eid."We hope that the various assistance received by earthquake victims will not make them lazy because after the earthquake is over and they receive assistance in building houses can return to normal life, including working to support their families," he said.Herman added that only Lebaran this year asked officials and ASN in the Cianjur Regency Government not to return home because the atmosphere of grief due to the earthquake was still felt by residents in a number of villages in 14 sub-districts in Cianjur.
