Alex Marquez's Target Reaches Top 10 In MotoGP In The United States 2023
JAKARTA - Gresini Ducati racer, Alex Marquez, is determined to continue the slick appearance of the last two MotoGP 2023 series that have been undertaken. Alex Marquez even targets to enter the top ten in the United States MotoGP on April 14-16.
"We got pretty good results in Argentina yesterday, so we want to continue with that and finish again in the top ten in the 2023 United States MotoGP," concluded Alex Marquez as quoted by Crash on Friday, April 14.
Before appearing at the Austin Circuit, Alex managed to climb the podium in the Argentine MotoGP by taking third place. The Spaniard managed to finish behind Marco Bezzecchi and Johann Zarco with a time of 4.681 seconds below Bezzecki.
Despite confidence ahead of the 2023 United States MotoGP this weekend, Alex still admits that the third series of the season will be one of the most difficult to beat circuits.
The circuit is quite difficult, but I still like it. There is a mixture where in some areas it flows smoothly, while elsewhere it requires a change of direction," said the former Honda rider.
"Austin (Cirweet of the Americas) is a physically demanding circuit. So, it is important to race there with 100 percent fit with sufficient rest," he explained.
Alex Marquez recorded a pretty good result in the first two MotoGP series this year even though he made his debut with his new team after moving from LCR Honda.
In the first series of MotoGP Portugal 2023 Alex Marquez finished fifth and in MotoGP Argentina 2023, Marc Marquez's younger brother climbed the podium in third place.
