Lace, Cardano Crypto Wallet Officially Launched, Here's The Advantage!
JAKARTA - Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson recently announced the launch of mainnet Lace, a lightweight wallet platform for Cardano Input Output Global (IOG).
One of the advantages of the Lace crypto wallet is that it can send a number of different crypto assets to different wallets in one shipment. Lace becomes the first native wallet for the Cardano ecosystem. This wallet was developed by Cardano's research and development division, Input Output Global (IOG).
"Launch of Lace was first announced via the wallet's official Twitter account. Within just an hour, Cardano's founders responded to the post, saying: Lace is out!" wrote Charles Hoskinson (@IOHK_Charles) on April 11, 2023.
IOHK also shared an announcement about this development:
"BIG day for IOG - our new #LacePlatform platform is live on the mainnet. Congratulations to the entire @Lace_io team and thanks to you, the Cardano community, for your support so far." wrote Input Output (@InputOutputHK) on April 11, 2023.
Launching CryptoBasic, the mainnet launch of Lace comes after months of beta testing and receiving feedback from members of the Cardano ecosystem, the development team announced.

Pros of Lace Cardano Crypto Wallet
The Lace Wallet offers similar features to MetaMask and Trust Wallet, mainly a web browser3. However, Lace's primary focus is on giving ADA fans direct access to Cardano-based decentralized applications (dApps).
Through Lace, users can send and receive digital assets, including ADA, Cardano-based NFTs, and other tokens. In addition, users can also stake their ADA tokens using Lace, thereby contributing to network security.
Lace's "bundle transaction" feature allows users to send multiple assets to different addresses in one transaction, thus helping users save on transaction fees.
However, currently, Lace is only available as a browser extension, although the development team is planning to develop a desktop application for this wallet. There is no information yet regarding the plan to launch the mobile version.
Developer Lace has also announced plans to release in-wallet swaps, dApp stores, fiat-to-crypto on-ramps, and multi-delegation features in future releases. The launch of Lace on the mainnet is an important step in the development of the Cardano ecosystem and provides more options for users to access and manage their crypto assets.
