Mercedes-Benz E-Class Latest Ranks To Be Announced On April 25
JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz announced that it will introduce the next generation of the 2024 E-Class model on April 25. This latest car will later offer luxury interiors like other electric models, EQE.
Earlier in February, it was confirmed from the manufacturer that the latest interior would be available with the MBUX Superscreen stretched across the dashboard.
The manufacturer will embed Superscreen in the form of two screens on the center of the dashboard interior and on the outside. Superscreens can be displayed so that passengers can watch the desired film while traveling.
Not only that, Mercedes provides a sensor feature to monitor driver's attention and can turn off the driver's screen if the driver is annoyed.
Reporting from Autocar, Jum'at, April 7, another advanced feature is that Mercedes provides optional cameras facing drivers that can be used on various apps that can be downloaded on the MBUX operating system, including TikTok and Zoom.
The MBUX operating system also offers various advanced features such as an automatic seat heating system that can make passengers and drivers comfortable. Another latest look in the interior is that there are digital instruments and a HuD display.
E-Class will also be the last car based on the MRA platform. All E-Class models will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain, with the option of four or six cylinders. The E-Class will offer a four-cylinder M254 gasoline engine and a four-cylinder diesel OM654 which will be offered exclusively with a 48V electrical system.
For the six-cylindrical variant, six-cylindrical M256-cylinder gasoline engines will be included with 2.9-liter turbocharged and six-cylinder OM656 diesel fresh 3.0-liter turbocharged and will be offered with milli-hybrid or plug-in hybrid technology which is estimated to be 325 dk and 429 dk.
Prices for the E-Class model are estimated to start at 60,000 (IDR 1.1 billion), amid the price of C-Class which costs 45,165 pounds (IDR 835.5 million) and S-Class 86,260 pounds (IDR 1.5 billion).
