Residents Of TNI Land Occupants In Matraman, East Jakarta Will Be Ordered

JAKARTA - Danramil 02/Matraman Major Arm Ahmad Budiman regretted that there were people who dared to claim ownership of land on a plot of land belonging to the TNI AD which became the 02 Matraman Military Rayon Command Headquarters (Koramil 02/Matraman), East Jakarta.

According to the Telegram Letter of the Army Chief of Staff (ST KASAD), the TNI AD is currently securing assets belonging to the TNI. For this reason, Danramil is ready to become a pioneer for the release of TNI assets in the Koramil 02/Matraman area from the grip of people who are not entitled to occupy.

"Well, in response to the KASAD Telegram Letter, of course, I am carrying out my duty to secure assets. When I let my base be claimed by people. This is a Kodam asset," said Major Arm Ahmad Budiman when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, April 9.

To carry out the security of the TNI assets, Ahmad Budiman continued to use persuasive steps to residents who made claims.

Persuasive steps ranging from appeals and advice, asking people to be willing to vacate land belonging to the Indonesian Army, to provide subpoenas to these residents.

However, later after the third subpoena is given, if residents have not had good intentions in emptying the land belonging to the TNI AD, then Danramil will take legal action in accordance with the laws that apply in Indonesia to these residents.

Previously, it was reported that almost half of the land assets belonging to Koramil 02/Matraman on Jalan Utan Kayu Raya, Utan Kayu Utara Village, Matraman District, were allegedly still controlled by the community for personal gain.

In fact, the land has been established in various types of buildings to business places. The land with a land area of 819.62 square meters is thought to have been controlled by residents for decades.

The community only admitted to paying the UN contributions while occupying the land. Based on UN contributions, residents actually claim to own a solid baseless land and since 2018 have been trying to certify it, this is proven by the application for measurements to BPN in 2018.

"We have a number of strong evidences from Zidam Jaya and Denzibang-1 Kodam Jaya regarding ownership of Koramil's assets covering an area of 1,895.63 square meters controlled by community officials on Jalan Utan Kayu Raya, Utan Kayu Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta," said the Commander of Koramil (Danramil) 02/Matraman, Major Arm Ahmad Budiman to VOI, Sunday, April 9.
