KAI: The Evacuation Of The Anjlok Train In Sidoarjo Is Complete
SIDOARJO - The evacuation process for the train that occurred at the Emplasmen Station Sepanjang, Sidoarjo, East Java, Saturday, was successfully carried out by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) officers.
"Currently, those who have fallen can be lifted again and then the process of checking the route. If it is declared safe, the train will pass again," said Public Relations Manager Daop 8 Surabaya Luqman Arif via text message.
He said PT KAI Daop 8 Surabaya apologized for the disruption of train trips due to the operational disruption of the BBM Transport Train with No. 2636 from Madiun to Benteng Station Surabaya.
He continued, today at 15.30 WIB, KA Barang 3 BBM 2636 experienced a decline at the Emplasmen Station Sepanjang, Sidoarjo, East Java.
KA Barang Transport BBM 2636 experienced a drop of 6 US; in series number 4 there were 2 US and number 5 as many as 4 US.
"The process of evacuating the freight train is currently being carried out by sending a rescue train from Sidotopo Station, and handling the train lane that occurred by officers," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, April 8.
KA's operating pattern due to the incident temporarily passed Sidoarjo Station - Tulangan - Tarik. Several trains whose operations changed, including the Ranggajati train from Cirebon to Jember, Bima train from Surabaya to Gambir, argo wilis train from Bandung to Surabaya and KA Wijaya Kusuma from Banyuwangi to Cilacap.
As a result of the decline in the train, the traffic flow around the location was jammed because it was at the railroad crossing along the way. Drivers who will pass at the location are forced to turn through other roads.
