Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Predicts Gasoline Needs To Increase 6 Percent Ahead Of Eid

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Regional (JBB) has formed an effective Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr Task Force (RAFI) from April 1, 2023 to May 2, 2023.

Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Regional Executive General Manager Deny Djukardi said Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java predicted an increase in the number of fuel and LPG needs during the RAFI Task Force.

"At least there will be an increase in demand of 6 percent for Gasoline (gasoline) and an 11 percent decrease in Gasoil (diesel) due to restrictions on goods transport vehicles compared to the average sales in March 2023," he told the media, April 6.

He added that this had also considered increasing the flow of homecoming which was dominated by private cars and motorbikes.

Meanwhile, West Java Regional Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Eko Kristiawan also said that the Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr Task Force Team (RAFI) in 2023, Pertamina is ready to secure the supply and distribution of fuel and LPG to meet the needs of the people in the West Java region during the 2023 Eid homecoming flow.

"In general, the stock and distribution of fuel & LPG in West Java are currently in a safe condition and running smoothly. Pertamina prepares additional stocks according to the calculation of the average consumption projection for each product," said Eko.

For the West Java region, the supply of fuel and LPG in the Jabodetabek area is distributed from the Jakarta Integrated Terminal. In the Banten area, it is located at the Tanjung Gerem Fuel Terminal and Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal.

Meanwhile, West Java is located at the Ujung Berung Fuel Terminal, Cikampek Fuel Terminal, Padalarang Fuel Terminal, Tasikmalaya Fuel Terminal, Integrated Balongan Terminal.

Pertamina provides additional services to meet the needs of the community during homecoming on potential routes including toll roads, tourist routes, and main routes, in the form of 12 Kiosk of Pertamina Siaga BBM, 3 Pertamina Siaga Houses, 1 PTO (Mobile Dispenser), 115 Motorist, 71 Pocket Gas Stations (Mobile Storage), 172 Alert Gas Stations, 3 Mini Clinics, 1418 Alert LPG Agents.

Eko added that Pertamina also alerted 1646 gas stations, 584 Pertashop, 1544 PSO LPG agents, and more than 47 thousand PSO LPG bases. The distribution agency remains on standby to operate to make it easier for people to get fuel and LPG.

For stock security at Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB as of April 4, Gasoil 19 days and Gasoline stock security of more than 18.3 days.

"With the increase in public consumption from existing stocks, our stock resilience is still capable of facing a surge in public consumption," said Eko.
