Mauk Denies Police Members Ask For IDR 25 Million To Free Gambling Suspects

Mauk Police Chief, AKP Yono Taryono denied the narrative of the request for money from Mauk Police personnel to the suspect in the gambling case.

However, he confirmed that two people had been arrested for gambling cases. Both are Dadung and Sigit.

"Both of them are undergoing legal proceedings. Our members have never asked for money, let alone promised that both of them would be released," Yono said in his statement, Thursday, April 6.

Therefore, his party is looking for the owner of the account. As well as finding out the reason why the account owner spread the narrative that was detrimental to the Mauk Police.

"In principle, we are always open to accepting suggestions and criticisms. As long as there is no harmful slander," he concluded.
