AC Milan Gasak Napoli 4-0, Capital Ahead Of Champions League Meeting

JAKARTA - AC Milan hampered Napoli's pace to immediately secure the Italian Serie A title. Appearing at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Napoli headquarters, Monday, April 3 in the morning WIB, the Rossoneri won with a landslide score of 4-0.

Rafael Leao scored two goals in this match. While the other two Milan goals were scored by Brahim Diaz and Alexis Saelemaekers, respectively.

This result kept Napoli stuck with a collection of 71 points from 28 matches. Meanwhile, AC Milan rose to third place with 51 points.

This will be the perfect capital to return to face the same opponents in the Champions League scene. As is known, Napoli and Milan will clash in the quarter-finals of the top caste of the European club competition.

However, AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli did not want to be too happy.

"Of course today's victory gives us confidence, but it (the Champions League) will be a different match," Pioli told DAZN.

"Just because we won 4-0 today, it doesn't mean Napoli lost power. We will think about Napoli and face those two games, I hope, with the personality tonight."

"It will be a balanced match between two strong teams who performed well in the Champions League," he continued.

Pioli admitted that his target was not only to bring Milan further in the Champions League this season. But also to win tickets to the Champions League next season by finishing in the top four of the Italian Serie A.

"This season will be positive if we play in the Champions League again next year, there are still 10 days left to face Napoli. That will be 180 minutes, but now we are heading to Empoli (on Friday), in our league we don't always face matches with the right attitude," said Pioli.
