Raffi Ahmad Admits Rans Nusantara FC Experienced A Difficult Season
JAKARTA - One of the top officials of Indonesian League 1 club Rans Nusantara FC Raffi Ahmad admitted that his team was experiencing a difficult competition season.
Quoted from Antara, Sunday, Raffi said he hoped that Rans Nusantara FC could rise in the remainder of the 2022/23 Indonesian League 1 season.
Rodrigo Santana's squad is currently at the bottom of the Indonesian League 1 standings with 18 points from 32 matches.
Raffi also apologized to the Rans Nusantara FC team which he could not accompany intensely, differently when the team was still competing in Liga 2.
The husband of Nagita Slavina is sure that next season Rans Nusantara FC can rise and compete in the 2023/24 Indonesian League 1 standings.
"This year is not a good year for us RANS Nusantara. But, whatever we are grateful for, we have learned a lot for our overall introspection," said Raffi.
"This season is a season where we are in a slump. But, this will not stop us for the coming season, we will fight again our dreams to become a more resilient team," he concluded.
Now Makan Konate and colleagues will certainly end the season of the Indonesian League 1 competition in the caretaker position because it is impossible to catch up with the teams above it.
It is known that The Prestige Phoenix is 13 points adrift of PSS Sleman who is ranked 17th in the Indonesian League 1 standings with two matches remaining.
Furthermore, Rans Nusantara FC will travel to Borneo FC headquarters in the 33rd week at Stadon Segiri. Samarinda, Sunday (9/4) and host Madura United in the 34th week at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, Thursday (13/4).
