Denying The AG Submitted Memorandum Of Objection, The Public Prosecutor Remains In The Indictment
JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) has responded to the memorandum of objection or exception of the attorney for the accused child with the initials AG (15). AG's attorney, Mangatta Toding Allo, said that the prosecutor denied the objection note he submitted. He remains in his indictment.
It is known that the South Jakarta District Court (PN) (Jaksel) held a follow-up hearing in the case of the imposition of David Ozora (17) with the defendant AG (15). The trial is scheduled to read the prosecutor's response to the objection note or the exception of AG's attorney.
Earlier, the views of the Public Prosecutor on the exception were read out. But they (JPU) denied from some points of our objection, they remained on the charges," Mangata told reporters at the South Jakarta District Court, Friday, March 31.
He said that the next trial would schedule an interim decision trial against the accused AG child at the South Jakarta District Court, on Monday, April 3.
"On Monday, an interim decision will be scheduled and after that, maybe if the exception is rejected, it will proceed to trial and witness examination," said Mangatta.
For information, the AG defendant's follow-up trial was held behind closed doors and has been started at 08.30 WIB. Today's trial agenda reads the response of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) to the objection note or the exception of AG's attorney.
Head of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, said that for the defendant AG, he was charged with several articles, namely the first primary indictment of Article 353 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
The second indictment is prime Article 355 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 56 of the 2nd Criminal Code Subsidiary Article 353 paragraph (2) Kuhp in conjunction with Article 56 of the 2nd Criminal Code.
"And the third Article 76 C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2022 concerning child protection," he said.
