ASN Full Smile! After THR, 13th Salary Is Confirmed To Be Liquid Next June

The Minister of Finance (Menkeu) revealed that the government has allocated a special budget for the payment of the holiday allowance (THR) and the 13th salary for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

According to the Minister of Finance, the THR will begin to be disbursed on April 10, 2023 and the 13th salary a few months later.

"The provision of the 13th salary is regulated in Government Regulation Number 15 of 2023, which is intended as educational assistance and will be implemented starting in June 2023," he said on Wednesday, March 29.

The Minister of Finance explained that the amount of the 13th salary refers to the value of the THR received this year, namely the basic salary with attached allowances (family, food, position, structural/functional/general) and 50 percent performance allowances.

"Components and groups of recipients of the 13th salary are the same as THR 2023," he said.

If referring to these provisions, the total salary budget for the 13th is IDR 38.9 trillion. This amount is distributed to 1.8 million central ASN, state officials, TNI/Polri (IDR 11.7 trillion). Then, as many as 3.7 million regional ASN (IDR 17.4 trillion), and for 2.9 million retirees (IDR 9.8 trillion).

"Technical implementation of THR and 13th salary is regulated in the Permenaker sourced from the APBN, as well as Perkada sourced from the APBD," he added.

"The THR policy and the 13th salary are expected to be one of the factors driving people's economic activities, so that the process of accelerating economic growth is maintained," closed the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
