Acting Debut Through Sleeping Friends Film, Kalina Oktarani Brings Special Messages
JAKARTA - Kalina Oktarani made her acting debut through the film Teman Tidur which will air on March 30. She wants to try a new experience through the film world at the age of 38 because the film raises bullying problems at school.
Kalina, who claimed to have been bullied when she was in high school, had a message for those who were still bullying her friends.
"I have a lot of non-tom news about people who get stressed because of bullying. Tell me, fellow humans don't hurt. Because if you don't want to be treated like that, don't treat it like that. Tips for humans, love others," said Kalina Oktarani when met in Kemang, South Jakarta on Monday, March 27.
Kalina also shared her own experience with bully. When she was still in grade 1 high school, she admitted that she had been treated badly by her 3rd grade classmate. Just because of the problem of using school uniforms, she was bullied for some time.
However, at that time Kalina managed to get out of her fear after ventured to face her seniors. He questioned what was his mistake so that he received unpleasant treatment.
Azka Corbuzier's mother felt that she was innocent at that time, so she ventured to fight back. "I'm not wrong, because if I'm not mistaken I'll dare, but if I'm wrong, I'm wrong," he said.
Even though the bullying incident had been going on for decades, Kalina admitted that there were still trauma left behind. To get out of that fear, he tried to make peace with himself.
"If you say you're leaving the route now, if anyone remembers it, I'm still worried. Back again, maybe based on my 42-year life experience, I'm more at peace with myself," concluded Kalina Oktarani.
